My Final Thoughts On Halo Infinite

So here are my final thoughts on this game. I can’t believe how disappointed I am with Infinite. When I played the beta, I felt that it had promise. That it had potential. It was very cool. Now came the final release and season 2. Let me tell you that the game is a big let down. The gameplay feels sluggish and slow. I’ve been playing Unreal Tournament 2004 and Timesplitters Future Perfect a lot. Those two games had smooth and fast paced gameplay. The weapons in Halo Infinite weren’t good, and season 2 made them worse. Aim assist is bad as well. Spartan customization for free players is restrictive, and there are still no playable Elites. Instead of normal color customization, coatings took its place and it’s a bad replacement. Emblems are no longer customizable either.

There’s not much content, and classic maps aren’t available. Settings reset while in a match in custom games. The only way to level up is by doing challenges. 343 making changes to core mechanics was so unnecessary. Don’t they know that if it isn’t broken don’t fix it??? Like other modern free to play games, it took notes from Dota 2 and Fortnite by having a battle pass with seasons. I hate that.

This game should have not been free to play. I knew this would all happen. I warned players back at the old Halo Waypoint about this. Nobody asked for Halo to go f2p. Sorry guys, but Infinite is not great, and has made me despise free to play even more. 343 doesn’t listen to the fans, but to Twitch streamers and the competitive crowd. This game is not for you guys sadly.
