My Feedback on Halo Infinite Flight

Here’s on feedback on my recent play.

  1. The game needs better optimization. I have a i9 with a 3090 rtx and the most frames I can pull is 100-150 frames with the lowest settings. I was really hoping for the game to run at 240 frames consistently on at least low - medium settings like I do with Overwatch and Valorant. If the devs manage to have the game running at 240 frames with the max settings on, that would be simply amazing. I can only hope.

  2. The sliding start up is too slow. That little delay should be shorter and get to the sliding a bit quicker.

  3. Voice chat only comes out through my monitor speakers while everything else is coming to the headphones. The Master Chief Collection had the same exact problem. The best solution for this is have an audio selector in-game. Let the game pick up our PC’s audio devices and let the player manually pick a device for outbound(hearing voice chat) and inbound (microphone). “Default” should be an option for both, cloning the default options for the actual PC settings.

  4. The Tab button for the scoreboard is a forced toggle. When I want to see the scoreboard, I expect the scoreboard to appear quickly, in and out with no delays. When exiting the scoreboard, the scoreboard does this very long animation before it completely disappears. I hate it because it gets in the way of the gameplay.

  5. The time to kill is too high. Also, the standard assault rifle should do way more damage when landing headshots.

try setting both your minimum FPS and maximum FPS to match your monitor’s refresh rate. I originally had minimum fps off, changing it to 144 gave me a massive FPS boost.

I did, I was still getting the same results.

that’s a bummer. best of luck. i’d imagine the game will be way better optimized for launch.
