Let me start off by saying, thank you 343i for letting me be in this flight. I’ve been waiting to experience Halo Infinite ever since I saw the announcement trailer at E3 2018. After experiencing the test flight, I can say for sure that I’m extremely satisfied with how the game is turning out. My Feedback is as follows:
I really enjoyed the gunplay, it reminded me of my time playing Halo 3 and I was really glad that the gunplay feel hasn’t changed. The gun sounds were amazing, the sound design team did a really good job. I really enjoyed the music in the game too, it made me think I was listening to the old OG Halo soundtrack. Overtime, the bots felt more and more like actual players, but with minor hiccups, and I really enjoyed testing them out. The gun testing grounds mode was really cool too, it made me want to keep trying to get a better score and hone my skills. Regarding the Battle Pass and Challenges though, I liked the concept. Through my experience, the daily ones that kept popping up were just the “Complete Matches” ones.
I would like to see more diversity in the daily challenges. As for the Battle Pass, I hope that in the full game, completing challenges isn’t the only way to level up the Battle Pass, and you can also level it up by just playing and completing matches. When PvP was introduced for a short while last night, the mode felt good, it did seem a bit unbalanced with certain shots not registering, The Assault Rifle feeling like it was hitting too hard, and the Battle Rifle not feeling as good as it should. I also heard in the Halo Discord last night that some people were saying that it felt like the recoil on the Commando rifle on the controller was a bit too much. These are just my opinions though, but that’s pretty much it for my feedback.
Thank you again, and I look forward to seeing if I get into the next flight!
