If you scroll to the very bottom of the forge notes you will see:

It’s like how rather than stomping out the vehicle welding glitch, they now have it as ‘beta support’. They recognise it isn’t harmful to the community and make steps to support it better and I think that’s excellent.

I did not see that.
Good on them for embracing some small glitch that the community wanted to keep.
