My fan-made HUD based upon what we have seen

I based it upon the stuff we saw from the 343i Jobs vid.
I added a glitchy perspective behind some of the interface icons to reinforce the “Looking through a visor feeling” and to make it grittier.

imgur converted to jpg, so sorry for the bad quality. -.-

I think you should be able to see more of your arms

but all in all its pretty good just needs some refining

maybe something like this http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YE9g1zGDRH0/TbUDKKAy7AI/AAAAAAAAAPk/BcdzVBe-EaM/s1600/Halo+Reach.jpg

Hmm… Pretty cool HUD shape overall. Might want to add something a little extra to the outline though. And, if you wouldn’t mind adding some crazy scenery or something to make it more real.

good weapon choice op

> I think you should be able to see more of your arms

Done, changing OP. It’s about as much as you see in Halo 3.

Working on it

how much of your body do you think you should be able to see ?

personally I think you should be able to see your chest when you look down

Your implying the FOV will be 60-65, when in reality I think it would be around the 80-90 margin.

BTW why you use the BR when you could use the AR to make it a little bit more like the footage we’ve seen? The BR is hideous lol.

I’m sorry but does anyone else think the black border is wicked unattractive? I liked it in 3 and ODST where you had the border, but you could (although more difficult) see more on your screen.

The FOV is not accurate since I don’t have any good pictures of ideal FOV. I’m guessing it would be at 80-90 also. Another thing that may have influenced this is that I took into account the perspective of the helmet when tilting the HUD.

I dunno why I didn’t use the AR. Good idea.

Yeah, I liked it too. Guess we have to get used to it.
You also have to take into account the level of lighting and tilt of the camera in the area of the footage, so it might be semi-transparent (but still black.)

Yeah, same here, if technology allows for it.

Revised. I understand, I don’t know why I put it that high anyway…

Thank you, by the way.

> EDIT: Move the motion sensor so that it’s not overlapping the bottom border, and tilt it so that it matches up with everything else perspective-wise.

Doin’ it.

> EDIT 2: Throw a reticle on that.

Doin’ it.

looks cool bro.
