my experience

nice opening letter from 343

cool intro. The tanks and spartan look like action figures  really cute

start and new data, game must restart Heard “Hi my name is cutter welcome to halo wars 2”

intro letter again
action figures again
INFO DUMPPPPP!!! Too much too fast!!!
command key commander power
upgrade base gets higher tech level
rock paper scissors people get killed by cars, cars get killed by planes, planes get killed by people.

one playlist two comanders
I want to select the brute guy not sure how
accidentally backed out of search while trying to select the brute

I think I chose the brute
looks like we are all cutter guy though

loading forever don’t want to pressanything
yellow boxes are good?

I was unable to get more than people and some motorcycle things. I built up my base but couldn’t spawn anything but people and those motorcycle things.

WOW NICE ADD FORCE. As soon as the game ends, press this button to pre order nice selling…

I won the match, but that was because of my ally. I have no idea what I was doing or why I couldn’t get any good stuff. Not happy with the game, but I suck at the RTS type of stuff. That add at the end sowered my taste buds even more though.

One match and I am done

Choose Brute hero by tilting left thumbstick left or right.
When match is found press A to select active leader.

Loading does take forever.
Command units to go to yellow boxes and pick them up, this takes a while. You get more resources to build more buildings and units with.

To build other units you need to build different structures and select them to build other units.
Barracks build Infantry
Garage builds vehicles
Armory upgrades buildings and stuff, I think
Air depot or whatever it was called builds air units
Generator generates power
Supply drop generate supplies

Brute:
Harvester and Generator the same as Humans
Raid Camp builds infantry
Forge builds vehicles
Air tower whatever builds air units
War council builds hero and some upgrades

Large bases has four smaller pads on each side for turrets and other upgrades.

thanks

the only problem that i’ve had is the camera. It feels too restricting and drives me crazy

I agree with that. You can’t zoom out as much as you could on halo wars 1. Personally I think it’s not as good as I thought it was going to be. They chanted the core mechanics of what made the first one so successful and easy to play. Cause the first halo wars 1 didn’t have a rock, paper, scissors attacking scheme, which made sense. Now they implemented that into the 2nd with taking out some core mechanics from the first one, it makes the game poor.

i guess some sequels should never happen if the original studio isn’t around to make it :frowning:

Having played as a spartan in first person I can definitively say that no soldiers don’t beat air vehicles at all. I have nightmares of banshee pilots doing their almost unstoppable dash-bomb-flip maneuver. Only thing that could take them out was lucky scorpion shots.
