My crazy DLC Idea

First off I’d like to say this game doesn’t “need DLC” but if the community must have it and 343i is willing to produce I think we are looking at it the wrong way.

Using a Title Update, we can vision a revision of firefight mode. It isn’t firefight mode but it can be. well it’s clear that these “events” like waterfalls and “falling snow” can be forged into Halo 2. Take a moment to wonder what it would be like if bots could be spawned In for custom games. Items that would be added in: (labeled with types of maps they would be allowed on)

Drop Pod (Elite)
-Available on all types of maps

Drop Pod (Brute)
-Available on all types of maps

Drop Pod (Hunters)
-Available on (Med/ Long Range)

Phantom (Elite Grunt Squad)
-Available on all types of maps

Phantom (Brute Squad)
-Available on all types of maps

Phantom (Invisible Elites)
-Available on all types of maps

Scarab
-Available on Large Maps Only

AI Vehicles
-Available on Med/Large Maps Only
(Warthog/Ghost/Banshee/Gungoose)
-Available on Large Maps Only
(Above + Scorpion and Wraith)

AI Spawn Point

  • Toggle between (Grunts/Elites/Marines/Brutes) on small maps
  • Toggle between (Grunts/Elites/Marines/Brutes/Humters) on Med/Large maps

Pelican Drop
-Available on Med/Large

ODST Drop pod
-Available on Large Maps Only

Weapon Drop
-On any map
-Toggle any weapon.

All of the AI will have a toggle to attack anyone by team/ or everyone in general.

a

I’m not saying it is the same. I’m saying this feature has potential

Through good programing, 343 could bring this in a future game.

The solution for the AI not having pathing on a custom built map is to have something similar to a traitzone box, only that this box would function as pathing.

If you want to play firefight go play the campaign. Firefight has never been a playlist with large numbers. I would rather the developers focus on the match making that matters.

Numbers on a playlist don’t represent those of us who like playing FF solo or in private parties with friends.

i’m not comfortable with any of this, i have to agree with HalyconQuagmire. IMO they should focus on other things than these.
