My copy of halo 5 arrived today. I know there is early multiplayer access going on just now. Can i play it or will i be banned ? I have no intention of playing the single player yet as i want to do it with my mates on co op.

To play online in Early Access MP you need to enter another access code in the XBOX Store. Codes that were only sent to reviewers and influencers.
You can only play Multiplayer if you’ve got a review copy. You have retail. So no go.
You can only play campaign offline, you can’t play MP or single player while connected to Xbox Live it blocks you.

Campaign shouldn´t be a problem. Pre release Multiplayer could be activated per gamertag. Like a whitelist.
Last info from Microsoft was - Legit prerelease copies won´t be banned. So if you bought an official copy of the game, there shouldn´t be a problem for you. Just for the retailer for breaking the street date

Offline play only until Tuesday.
You an not be punished for playing campaign early as you have no control over shipping. However Microsoft will track down the offending party and they usually are heavily fined and lose the ability to sell their products for a specified time, then can only get them 2 weeks after launch. They take breaking street seriously.

So, I finished downloading, then I went offline. I tried to launch it. It originally said 50-something GB under Halo 5 Guardians in my Games and Apps, now it says 0 GB. Not sure if my entire download broke, but, I would really like to play campaign, but I can’t launch it. I do not want to install this game again. please help me.
