My copy of Halo 4 quit working.

Okay, so I pre ordered a copy of Halo 4. I played it pretty often until one day it just randomly quit loading all of the multiplayer maps and campaign levels. Any time I try to play a match/level there’s a message displayed that says something about being unable to load due to missing downloadable content. I’ve tried reloading the second disk and that did nothing. I updated my console and that didn’t help either. I’m really not sure what to do now. Is there a way for me to find and download the missing content? Or do I need to get in contact with 343 for a new disk?

My copy of Reach did that, I was a General grade 4 and I wanted to cry.

I had the same problem with certain campaign levels. Luckily my cousin also has halo 4 and I was able to borrow his copy and install it( My copy was faulty like yours and wouldn’t install). After I installed my cousin’s copy, I was able to then use my own with no problem.

So, If you know a person that owns halo 4, borrow his/her copy and install it. This fixed my problem and an xbox live friend’s problem as well.

Check disc for cracks or Scratches. If you have DLC downloaded. Go to you harddrive and delete all Halo 4 content from it. Restart game and redownload DLC. If that doesn’t work. Buy a new game.
