Back in 2011, I did the first 3 missions solo on legendary. With the game now being backwards compatible, I decided that I would try for the rest. In the last week, I did 4 through 6. I decided to check my progress at the start of mission 7. In the campaign select mission screen, it shows just mission 5 and 6 being done on solo legendary. Missions 2 through 4 are all locked and can not be played until I’ve done the previous missions. Missions 1 to 4 are all incomplete and none of them are showing up as being down in single player at all!
Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix it?
That happened to me countless times before backwards compatibility so I feel your pain. But I think campaign progress is stored locally and your old campaign progress was on your Xbox 360’s local storage.
I think you would’ve had to go to storage settings (in Reach) and set it to save to the cloud. I’ve noticed things like this for other BC games.
Before I played it on the One, I transferred my save data into the cloud on my 360 because I knew that the old save would not transfer unless it was in the cloud. When I did start reach on the one for the first time it showed the campaign being completed legendary coop and the first three missions done solo legendary.
