Check out my BTB map Palm City. Finally I feel that it’s finished, I’ve used almost every trick in the book that Forge provides and made a tropical BTB map with a ton of cool little details all around the map, fun and balanced vehicle and on-foot gameplay. About 3 weeks worth of effort, learning Forge from scratch with no prior experience. I’m pretty pleased with the result and can safely retire haha. Wouldn’t mind helping others on their maps. Hope you enjoy it.

Some passing comments on Forge itself, I think it’s a fanstastic tool and incredibly powerful, I was never compelled to try forge in previous halos because of apparent limitations in regards to visuals and detail levels, just grey blocks and platforms. This one allows you to do almost anything, once you learn it you can easily match or at least approach the quality of dev maps. In fact I’d say that the official forge maps in the game don’t use the tool to full capacity with drab and boring lighting on detachment and empyrean, low quality copypasted detail or lack of fine detail in general that makes the maps look and feel lifeless. You can do so much better while using forge, but it requires an eye for detail. Hopefully the next maps are a bit better. Overall, big thank you to the entire forge team, this thing just might revive halo infinite. Some improvements needed as far as stability and crashes, some assets for covenant/banished themes would be nice, but overall it’s a big win for 343 team. Again thank you for your work.
