My brother got me banned..How long for?

So the story goes…

I get back form work turn on my Xbox, sign in and it says you have last been signed in on a different console, I at first think this is weird but think nothing of it, as my younger brother (who is 7 uses my account sometimes) I carry on to halo 4 and start infinity, it tells me I have been banned with no explanation.

I then check my halo waypoint and look at my game history, it shows me in several regicide games with my other brother’s and his friend’s account and many guests. I see the scores and assume that they where boosting for whatever reason. The games were at 15:30 ish and I had work 13:00 - 21:00, as far as I can see my account gained no benefit and I am unaware if they were banned. Obviously I cant prove that this was not me and it is my fault for not password protecting my account.

The main thing I want to know is how long this will last, as I cant see myself playing online for no benefit to my ranking. I’m seriously pissed off to be fair. :confused:

Any help would be most appreciated, many thanks!

Ah yes, the “my sibling got me banned!” excuse. That’ll teach you for boosting Regi.

There’s nothing you can except to tell your lil’ brother that he cannot use your account (why is a 7 year-old playing Halo? At 7 years old, I played things like Mario and of the sort, and legos) and wait it out.

My 7 year old brother uses my account but doesn’t play halo he plays arcade games on it, my middle brother used it on halo. So I just have to wait?

I had the same problem only in my situation i left my xbox on to go do something and i ended up forgetting my xbox was on and while i was doing that my account was still going through the matchmaking system in the party i was in with my friends. Long story short i came back and it said i was temporarily banned from xp. I dont understand why it doesnt just kick me out if mistakes like these happen and i want to know how long i will be banned for.

And you would be better off posting this in the stickied banned thread.

This is -Yoinking!- hilarious.

When you sign up for xbox live in the terms it states that you are responsible for others on your account. Put a child lock on your account shouldn’t let him play on it in the first place. hes only 7 he should be on mario kart.

I dont understand all of those comments…
anyone actualy has read this to the end?
He says, he does not want to get it reverted, he just wants to know for how long he has been banned…

@OP
I would say, next time please post this in the Official banned thread which should be a sticky aswell.
