Not sure where to post this to be honest, looked for a support forum but i’m not seeing one, looked for an email… and again i’m not seeing one… a little frustrating.
Anyhow, like the title states, my rank is stuck in Halo 5 on Xbox One. I’m stuck at Bronze 1 and that does not move, no matter how many wins there are in a row, it’s always bronze 1. Before anyone tries to explain how rank works, I already understand, and I understand that you must win games to move that rank to bronze 2 and on. Problem is that mine is not moving, but it’s only in breakout.
I’ve played normal arena and my rank moves through the numbers just fine from wins / losses… however my breakout rank just doesn’t move at all. To add to this issue, is this worked fine for me before the reset, I was Gold 1, but since the update, no go.
In addition, I believe this bug is causing another issue to where I rarely can find a match for breakout games unless I play with a friend of mine who isn’t bugged that is in the silver rankings. It isn’t my location that is causing this, I live in the middle of the US… and do does he… I believe my rank is just hosed and something needs to be reset.
If there is an email I can send this to (support email) I would love it… really would like to get this fixed as I love the breakout mode… but would like to actually gain rank from it.

Well from your game history it looks like you aren’t winning enough matches in a row to level up, your average appears to be win 1 match and then lose 2 matches.

I understand that, but two in a row it should go up a notch to bronze 2 but that has not happened, yet the friend I play with in the silvers does go up. Trust me, I know how rank works, and mine is broken… but only in breakout, works fine in all other game modes.

I understand you know how ranking works, I’ve never been bronze so I don’t know how many matches it takes to move up but with gold and platinum its usually like 3 or 4 matches in a row before you move up.
I recently ranked up from Silver 5 to Gold 1 in Breakout and I pretty much had to win every game. When I lost a game the CSR went down by half of what I would earn for a win. So if you are roughly losing 2 matches for every win, then you aren’t making any progress. Try monitoring your CSR after each game to see what happens to your rank.

You would be the first person ive seen with a broken rank. While you’re playing get on your stats page and watch your progress. After every game refresh the page and see what happens. I dont think they made a difference between the tiers. I think a level is a level and it doesnt matter if its bronze 1 or diamond 1…you need like 4-5 wins to get through to the next…Try tracking a few games through waypoint and get back to us.
I’m having the exact same issue. But more than that, most of the time I can’t get into a breakout match at all. After about 5 minutes or so, I get a message that says no matches found. I thought it might have to do with being stuck at bronze 1 but not sure. It appears to only be in breakout. All other arena modes my rank goes up and down as expected.

You appear to be in the same boat as the OP, you are not winning enough matches per loss. Out of your last 7 Breakout games you only have won 1 match.
