So, as many of you know, Halo 4 has a lot of great additions that make the game that much better from the previous installments. Likewise, they also made some crucial mistakes.
Though I love Halo 4 so far and it in incredibly fun, there is one large issue I cannot overlook.
Title Update additions
This really gets my nickers in a twist. Instead of releasing the game with all of these things already fixed, they decided to ignore key features in the game and practically give us the excuse “We will give it to you later”.
This is the equivalent to a mother telling her son to take out the trash and the kid saying “Hold on! I will! Let me finish this game!” and 2 hours later, the trash is still there slowly rotting and stinking up the house.
This is not acceptable. You cannot exclude features like Theater for Campaign and Spartan Ops, Arguably just as important as War games. You cannot add visual elements to a game (flood mode) when you completely remove key features to the game that make it work. I don’t get my car a paint job but remove the leather on the seats, like wise you don’t give us simple aesthetics and remove one of the whole reasons Halo is better than other games; customization.
343, you should not give us a half finished game and just tell us be patient. There is a reason collage professors don’t allow people to give research papers and say “Its not finished yet, I will be back in two weeks with some new additions to make it better”. I would have much rather you simply delay the release of the game and have everything fixed rather than give us a half finished game and add to it as it goes.
343, I am disappointed in the route you have taken with the game, and I hope you realize in future releases that this system does NOT make us, the customers and fans, happy. Release a FULL game, not a half game.
