My armor coating ideas, give me yours. (List for 343)

Before Infinite came out I played around in some apps and other places and came up with some armor coating ideas. I have since deleted some of them but I’ll try to get some examples and leave links later.

I WANT TO MAKE A REAL LIST HERE FOR 343

  1. Have a flat color of armor and have tribal accents on the helmet or body (depending on personal preference) link > https://ibb.co/F7m37wF

  2. More metallic colors

  3. The color BLACK, literally jet black, I know I’m not the only one

  4. More vivid not faded colors, alot now seem to be lacking that WOW or POP. It seems mostly the promotional stuff are the only ones with the best qualities.

  5. With a color wheel you could always have something that completely randomized a Color for us. Might actually get some wicked looking colors.

  6. Give us the real WATCHDOG armor coating we were supposed to get

I’d like to see things like that added.

That would actually solve 3 and 4, and it would improve 1 and 2.

I want:

  1. Textures to change the way a coating looks. Shine, grime, dust, plasma burns, scratches, mud, energy sword scars.
  2. Japan Kanji decals that accent the arms or something. And not just on the Yoroi core.
  3. Scandinavian rune decals. It IS call Mjolnir.
  4. More asymmetrical designs. There’s a reason so many people like scorpion punch.
  5. Just better designs in general. Most of the coatings are just palette changes. Where are the flames like the Scorched Recruit armor from H5?
  6. Cadet White and Cadet Pink…

I actually have an example of a really cool helmet with tribal decal on it and it looks pretty awesome I think anyway

Just google “scorpion punch halo”. It’s a black armor with a red arm. It’s basically the coating 343 used to market coatings because perfectly showed off what coating could do that the 2 color system couldn’t.

Camo? Are you talking about the green Kovan coating from the campaign?

Gold and red. Pretty much a color swap of the Iron Man coating at was being sold for $20.

If we could apply coatings to each armor piece, you could make your own asymmetrical design.

That would be nice. I plan on making more of my own examples like the one I made above. But I’m sure no matter how cool they will never make the cut.

You know what might be cool is if they added an in-game coating editor.
Even more so if they let people share the coatings they make after being reviewed.

I just want the damn WCT Armor Coating and WCT Warthog Coating we were supposed to get from buying the swords and figures, not this Perfect Detail AR Coating, since we have 30 AR Coatings already, and nothing for most other weapons.
