I downloaded GTA4 today, and when I got on Halo later, it said that it could not write to my profile. So I just click through it and go to my character. Everything is fine. I can play online and with friends. So then, I get on again later. It does the same thing at the menu, except now it says that I may not have enough space on my hard drive, which is insane because I have 278GB free. I still just click through it, but then, it signs me out of Xbox Live. So I restart my Xbox, I then go back to Halo and I’m connected again except this time, my character is all glitchy and everytime I change armor, it says “Unable to write to profile” and other things. I can switch armor, but it always does that. Also, none of my DLC is there. I have none of the maps I purchased (all the maps), none of my DLC armor (DeadEye, Locus, Fotus, and about every other one.) None of it is there.
Could someone please tell me what is going on here? It either does what I just said above, or I can’t even connect to Xbox Live while on Halo. It’s not my connection because once I go to the dashboard or any other game I’m fine.
Another thing, when I change armor and sometimes when I’m just sitting there (not in a game) my armor goes away and so does my head like that mod some people do in SWAT.
I really need help on what is going on. This started happening as soon as I downloaded a game onto my Xbox. It is the Halo 4 edition Xbox 360 by the way.
A similar thing like this happened a few years ago on another Xbox of mine. I downloaded some app, and the account I downloaded it on became corrupt when I went on Halo 3. All my armor would always resort back to default and I would have to change my armor, emblem, color, and service tag every time.
Thanks for reading and I hope I can get some help.
EDIT:
If this is in the wrong section, I apologize. Please move it if it is.
UPDATE:
I fixed it. All I had to do was delete my profile and re-download it.
Hopefully it stays this way.
