I would love an explanation of how the ranking and CSR system works… I have been swat champ for 4 months in a row. Last month I was receiving 1 CSR a game, every game I won… and I put up with it for over a thousand games and still was able to get my champ, so I was happy. However at the start of this season, I went 10/10 in my placement games, and got ranked diamond 1? I am still getting 1 CSR a game too… this is so discouraging and really makes me upset because I love halo and I care about all the hard work I’ve put in on my account. I would really appreciate if someone from 343 could help me, this is more than infuriating.
Yeah, that is odd. No one knows how it works.
While you’re not alone in this issue, 343 is aware that this is an issue. It just needs more attention.

Thank you for your report! After some investigation we discovered that CSR was not ticking up correctly in certain instances, which has now been corrected. While ranking up like this is actually a part of the CSR System, the value should have been higher.
At minimum, the CSR System will always increase your rank by this at least this amount after every win, in order to prevent your rank from stagnating, or locking, at a certain level. It is important to note, that this is only seen when you defeat players that are significantly below your rank.

Yes I understand that someone with the higher (MMR) is going to get less CSR for beating someone with a lower (MMR). However! I was ranked DIAMOND 1 this season, after being champ for the past 4 seasons. Even now at DIAMOND 1 I am still getting 1 CSR. Nothing has been fixed. Actually. I urge you guys to check my SWAT record for June-July and see how many games I played against only champions, to still receive 1 CSR. I had 1000+ games played with 22 losses, and I was borderline champion lol…
