Help me out guys! I’ve been working so hard on getting my credits for the armory purposes. I had around 290,000 credits and the day after that I signed into my Xbox started halo reach, all of my credits gone! My level was back down to recruit and I’m really upset. I started again to gain more credits and now i’m at the rank of SGT grade 2 does anyone know what to do?
Good evening.
Was this the first time you signed onto LIVE while playing Reach at the same time? Bungie implemented a system when the created Reach that when a player logs onto LIVE for the first time while playing Halo: Reach where some, usually most cR a player earned is removed as a method to counteract cheating and boosting. This is done to prevent rank cheating, so people don’t ill-legitimately get to the rank of inheritor offline then sign onto LIVE for the first time while playing and have the Reach servers update.
If so, then this is the answer to your question. However, if you have played Halo: Reach in the past while connected to LIVE already, you need to make a post here as that sounds like some type of bug or error.
I hope this helps and have a good night now.

it was because you used prohibited ways to rank up and get cr, they took all that you “glitched” from you

I just looked through this individual’s game history, and he seems to be playing the game legitimately. I don’t see boosting via Target Locator, or spammed games of Grifball to boost cR and K/D before 01/06/2015, or anything for that matter that says cheating or boosting. I’m curious as to where there is actual evidence of him glitching. He apparently was at the rank or Major before the glitch occured, and he needs to make a post where I directed him to in my first post.
It’s very interesting indeed. Maybe it’s something that just resets if it detects something fishy. That really is odd. I haven’t heard of a reset like that in quite some time and when it did come up, it was because someone had been caught cheating but was lucky enough not to get banned
Well, the stats proclaim that the original poster only started playing on 01/01/2015, and to get to Major in five days, then again the original poster could’ve played a lot offline and capped inbetween warrant officer grade 2 and grade 3 before coming online. It’s hard to say, but his actual game history is legit.
