Hello everyone 
Since I don’t think I’ll ever be able to have this as an emblem in the game, I decided to make it instead.
This year I recently learned how to design and 3D print stuff (no I don’t have my own 3D printer)
Here is is: My 3D printed Didact emblem
I plan to put it on a chain so I can wear it as a necklace. <3

No not at the moment, I have it on Shapeways but I haven’t really been able to set up a shop so other people can buy it yet. I have been considering that though. It never came to mind at first because I didn’t think anyone would be interested unless it was a UNSC emblem. It doesn’t come with a chain but I bought one and will post a picture of myself wearing it when I get that.

Well, we’ll see. Before making this pendant I made a bunch of 3D printed rings, three of them were meant to be similar to the rings worn by Claude Frollo. It’s nice to create my own bling because I’m a girl who loves accessories, especially nerdy ones.
343 refused to give me a Didact emblem on Halo 5, so I decided to make it instead, but this pendant will have more value to me than an emblem in a game because I can wear it.
Who knows, maybe I could try to make a necklace out of my current in-game emblem the salient sword.

They’re probably really expensive, I don’t have one either, that’s why I found the website Shapeways where you can design your own rings, pendants, etc. on there. Then when your design is finished, you order it and the price varies on the material you choose. Shapeways reviews it and then once it’s deemed safe to print they print it and ship it to you.
You’d be surprised what the creation looks like once you have it in your hands!
I don’t know if any of you are in to making this stuff since this is jewelry we’re talking here but who knows maybe some of you gentlemen like to have a bit of bling you could probably make a 3D printed Spartan helmet on a dog-tag style necklace if you like!
I just googled an image of the Didact’s logo, uploaded it to Shapeways, added a chain loop and they printed it for me. Easy as pie, plus I chose a cheap material so I wouldn’t be spending too much. It’s not like I need it to be 14K gold!

I got my string for the pendant. Unfortunately I had to adjust the clasp by cutting off the metal ring just so I could get the pendant on.

Oh believe me looks can be deceiving for Metalheads. I’ve reached a point in my life where I do not always need to dress like it to say I’m a Metalhead and enjoy that kind of music. There are days when I want to wear my band shirts, wear black and have dark makeup, and then there are days were I feel like dressing a bit more girlie. Not all Metalheads have dark or really long hair either.

Hmm…Looks cool but I feel there’s something missing from it. Isn’t there supposed to be a line above the middle hexagon? Might wanna correct that, but otherwise it looks great.

Yes there was but let me explain: When I uploaded the image to Shapeways to create the pendant, the design would not come out entirely, unless that rectangle was somehow connected to the rest of it. It just floats there in the picture separately. Like if I tried to do Mendicant Bias’s emblem it wouldn’t be possible because the shapes in the middle are not connected if you know what I mean. It’s not all one piece that can be printed unfortunately.
