Stop tweaking Halo Reach! This was supposed to be a different game than Halo CE, 2, 3, or ODST.
I love all the Halo games. I love them each for what they were and how they were different from each other. Halo CE introduced a Spartan with a kick -Yoink- pistol. Halo 2 gave us Duel wielding, and online multiplayer. Halo 3 gave us a solid game, playable Elites, forging, and Grifball. ODST gave us silenced weapons, map display, the VISR, and firefight. Halo Wars gave us a new way to kick Covenant -Yoink-, but only if you can keep a steady stream of supplies coming in, as well as killer cut scenes. Halo Reach gave us armor abilities, bloom, more multiplayer modes, and assassinations.
Armor abilities
The armor abilities made everything about game play better. Stop complaining about the abilities, especially Armor lock! I enjoyed armor lock for what it used to be, but I do agree that it was way overpowered in the Beta and doesn’t feel like what it used to. Just learn how to counter the most common ability/loadouts that people use. (Ex: Sprint with sword/shotgun, or Jet pack with rockets/fuel rod cannon) Don’t just charge into battle and expect to survive because you would have if it were another Halo game.
Bloom
I liked the addition of Bloom. Having to be more methodical with your shots made Reach better than all the run and gun games out there. I believe that was the whole idea behind Reach in that you need to make your rounds count due to a limited supply in the Campaign. Bloom just added a new level of difficulty. Why would you have a set of rules in the Campaign and then disregard them in Multiplayer? Stop changing the Bloom setting. This game is not Halo 3!
Assassination Animations
Assassinations are awesome. It’s better than just a knife swipe.
Weapons
They used to be perfectly balanced, but somehow they just don’t feel right.
Vehicles
Put the Scorpion back on Hemorrhage! Anyone who complained about it being on that map should smack themselves in the face and give Reach to someone more deserving.
Stop tweaking Halo Reach into a watered down version of CE or Halo 3.
