So, to be clear, this will just be stating my opinion, m’kay?

I think that Call of Duty is pretty much the scum of all gaming-kind. It doesn’t take skill, it’s mainstream to the point where your teacher plays it (not to sound like a hipster :p), which is how it racks in the dough (which is crucial element. Just because a game sells 7 million copies, doesn’t mean that it’s good.), and finally, it’s just silly. Sure, I will admit, I have put hours, days into Modern Warfare 2, but that’s not because I see it as a quality game, oh no, I play it because it’s so bad it’s good. That, and trickshotting is kind of my thing, hehe. It will never be able to compete with Halo, and everyone knows that. Now, onto Halo itself…

So, as far as Halo Reach goes (I’m sure you all are just DYING to hear), I love it, though there are many things i would like improved, such as the number of playlists, the TU that has almost resulted in nothing, not counting Super Slayer of course, and well, AAs and bloom are just a failure, which is something I want to be fixed in…

Halo 4! So, from the Game Informer article, I gathered that:

  1. There will be armor abilities
  2. These armor abilities (and weapons, and who knows what else) will be incorporated into your class, which you will most lmistakely spawn with. As far as this, I want to see more before I can judge it.
  3. BR and DMR!

So anyways, hopefully no bloom, but I doubt 343i would make THAT mistake again. I am so hyped for Halo 4, with all of the competitiveness that Halo 3 gave us, and all of upgrades Halo Reach made. So, that’s my opinion, but I’d love to hear some people’s thoughts as well!

I need more to go off on before i come to a conclusion. I am not enitrely writing off Halo 4 as i probably make a purchase but i am skeptical of some of the changes. So far, not a big fan of Jetpacks and Camo returning. Bloom on DMR and Magnum is a small concern as well.

Lack of MM info and a ranking system alongside social playlists.

Loadouts might be unbalanced but at least that remove having to be out voted and forced to play AR starts ^.^

I agree about your rant on COD, from what Frankie has said you will be able to customize armour as well as armour pieces having certain effects. An extra grenade, more ammo, faster health regen etc. Jetpack, hologram and camo are returning, also Promethean Vision is a new armour ability that allows you to see through a wall like sonar
