Few weeks ago i bought Xbox for Halo after 3000 hours in Destiny in last 3 years. I’m 34, no gaming or competitive play behind my back, only Destiny as a first shooter and Halo now. So I’m about 100 hours mark, I’ve got my Onyx in slayer, solo. It is low, but it is first, I’ve struggled with everything. New controller, mechanics, low AA, bad/good teammates, my bad performance, map knowledge and so on. But in the end i feel like i did well and hope perform better next season. Champion maybe? (Joke)
So what i love:
Clean Gunfights, it is you and your aim, nothing more.
Everyone in a similar conditions from the beginning of game, no ability, tracking nades, 10 meter melees etc.
High Time To Kill but games are fast paced.
Im in love with sick movement and jumps, i dont do them like MLG guys, but i know some routes and I’m working in this direction.

60 FPS after 30 in Destiny
What i hate:
To play 3v4 and lose, lose ranks, thats not fair.
Play against guys who run straight in circles, all 4 guys just back to back. And you play with randoms who dont know how to counter this.
Almost nobody uses mic, i use it and provide as much info as i can.
Some maps with laggy and low FPS.
But in general I’m in love with this game, 3 of my friend from PS4 are bought/order Xbox One and we will play together i hope. I need to learn a lot of things yet. Movement, work on my aim, map knowledge and so on. But it is fun and competitive. I like it a lot. Even assist matter, i can play bad like make just 8 kills with 15 assist. A lot of team work and it is nice.
So i hope to get much better at least as much as i can. So see you at arena Guardians, hah, Spartans, yes i know.

Before party chat was introduced, you can hear everybody in the lobby talking to each other. Those were the days. I remember making some friends because of that.

Honestly? I can try. But not sure that i can, to much time need to invest and practice a lot. And kids are playing this game for 3-5-7-10 years. Reaction time, experience etc. Too much important factors. But lets see how it goes, if i can clip onyx high enough and i will see solid improvements. Why not? I dont lose anything.

Ahh, i see. Private chat for friends you mean. You do the party and invite.
