I don’t want this to be a negative thread, but i really don’t want to hear music, background noise, static and others things when I’m playing Halo. I’ve tried multiple times to mute them and its not working plus i tried making my own xbox party and switching to party chat that doesn’t seem to work anymore. Can we have this fixed please
Strange I never ran into this problem
You could try going to the game settings and change in game mic to headset only (if you don’t use one) if not there could be an option to toggle that audio all the way down
I’ve run into this once or twice. If you start a party before loading Halo it should ignore game chat.
OP What headset are you using? I am not sure if this is headset dependent but I use the Turtle Beach 420x+ and run into this daily. I have found a work around, if you unplug the sub adapter and plug it back in you will only have the game sounds and no chat for that game. I wish it could be fixed another way though as it is really unfair that some people can ruin an entire aspect of an individual game.
If anyone else knows another way that isn’t quitting and restarting the game please chime in.
I run into after multiple streams of games, ill click to mute all “because of the -Yoink- who is apparently listening to static at 11 on the mic” and it wont work I have to mute it on my mix amp and its super annoying.
