muted in matchmaking

i am permanently muted in matchmaking and i would like that to end. this happened with my old console leading into my new console and i had spoken with an xbox live agent and he ran through every step to try as follows
1 voice chat ok
2 changed privacy settings and rechanged to adult with no restrictions before redownload of profile
3 can record audio message ok
4 no NAT problems by txlc
5bipassed router with ethernet direct to modem
6 did sequential power cycle
made sure privacy setting not friends only
cleared system cache

would like a reply from a mod please

There’s no way to get that mute ban lifted, sorry. It’ll eventually wear off but no one really knows when.

i mean i can understand the mute ban… but for so long. i think i have been muted since febuary of this year… thank you for clearing that up for me.

how long does it take normally to lift the mute ban?

Am not sure, but it can depends on the preferences of the people, some people mutes wihtout reason, if you had any microphone problems, or light sound bugs, that you can’t hear, you should fix it cause the may reasons are of trash talking.

I’ve known people to mute everyone for no reason.
That can get people mute ban.

I think sometimes it depends on your rep too.

Xbox LIVE rep has nothing to do with mute bans.
