Must see idea for DLC

Ok. What if 343 released multiple dlc packs with classic Halo items? This idea would include the following items:
Covenant pack:

I’d be down for some classic map remakes, in a pack of 3, but as much as I’d like to see some weapons come back like the Grenade Launcher, Sticky Detonator, and Needle Rifle, I don’t think it’ll make that much of a difference whether they are included or not. Though, I will say, it’d be cool if they were added to Warzone as REQ weapons. That could be fun.

Considering the following that the SPNKR rocket launcher is already a req pack skin and the Plasma rifle doesn’t exist anymore so that probably wouldn’t come back, but whatever can will probably be a req skin.

  7. Halo wars vehicles

A lot of people would want a vehicle pack dlc Please 343 Industries!!:slight_smile:

Do you know how much of a nightmare that list would be for a modeller?

I don’t know if you could even use the old assests again in Halo 5 because it uses PBR for its materials. At the very least, diffuse maps and likely others too would need heavy tweaking to look serviceable at all.

I don’t think people realize how much work and effort goes into assest creation.

After all my ranting, I have to admit that this is on my list, as well ast AI in Forge which should now be possible due to the way Halo 5 handles loading assets as stated in the Waypoint Forge Post. “Should.”

343 have already explained that what exists and what is used or manufactured are quite separate.

It is likely that the Storm Rifle is now in mass production and has superceded the Plasma Rifle.

I’m with you on the Needle Rifle, that is still one of my favorite weapons.

Who would like to see the Halo 2 vehicle,the spectre return? They made a model th as t wa not used in Halo 4 which is quite interesting they considered it…

I wonder if 343 will at least show the brutes in a cutscene or at least mention them. They are still really important. Hope they at least consider the weapons being in the game

Isn’t there some kind of legal reason why Hayabusa can’t be added?
