Marty is part of a new company now - Highwire Games - announced a short while back, don’t see him leaving to return to Halo any time sorry

This is exactly what I was thinking when Bungie canned Marty. But, in his absence the music has also been terrific. If the music of Halo 4 and 5 sucked, I’d be on board with this, but as it is I can’t justify getting rid of such wonderful talent just to get Marty back into Halo.
That’s because CE through Halo 3 was 85% the same music 
Halo 4’s soundtrack was decent. I liked it a lot. But what I’ve heard of Halo 5’s soundtrack has me really excited. It’s great. I genuinely, honestly, sincerely promise you that I don’t want to hear the same tracks re-recorded in every single Halo game from now until eternity. It’s nice to have the monks back and the main theme (which we do by the way, it’s in Halo 5), but please, new music is good.
Well, 343 has their own composer, Kazuma Jinnouchi, and he’s doing a pretty good job on Halo 5.

This. I usually just listen to Halo tracks on Spotify, but I’m gonna buy the whole H5 soundtrack when it comes out on iTunes. So stoked. Sorry Marty, but I consider Kazuma to be your equal. Even those small little tones in the most recent trailer when the Microsoft and 343 logos popped up gave me legit chills.
