Who is composing the music for Halo 4? As far as I know, Marty O’Donnell is exclusively a Bungie employee, and the music is one of the things that made Halo great. How is this going down?
He is a mystery man as of now.
As of last week’s bulletin, it’s still a mystery. They said they will reveal who it is “soon”, but that essentially means nothing coming from 343i.
I’m praying it’s Jack Wall, and that’s why he left Mass Effect.

I believe he does the audio, nothing of composing music.

He didn’t do the Concept art trailer Music. I believe IGN put the music together.

The concept art trailer was NOT made by IGN. I made that mistake too. It was the Halofest trailer, as in the trailer for Halofest itself, that was made by IGN. They used some Two Steps From Hell music or something.
Sotaro has only been confirmed for PRODUCING the soundtrack. That’s not the same as composing. Producing is recording, mixing, and mastering. The composer is still unannounced.

IGN Was in charge of setting up Halo Fest Live streams etc im pretty sure i heard it somewhere.
