So when halo 4-5 came out there music was lack luster and didnt reach its fulk expectation for the game series of fighting to sorrow imo i feel lime able to choose your sound track frim the different halo games or use a mix of halo songs for the game as much as new mauic be cool with halo last time 343 made a good soundtrack was when they remastered halo 2 soundtrack while
Halo 4 and 5 were so basic and boring
4/5 were ok imo but not really on the level old tracks were. but honestly I feel like the h2a soundtrack was nothing compared to the original h2 soundtrack. hw2 had a pretty good soundtrack so I’d hope who evr worked on that returned for infinite but attempt to try and replicate the varying themes marty used for halo 1 and 2
I doubt that Halo will reach a scale of greatness in the music part since Marty is doing other stuff, though its again one of those things I would be happy to be wrong about.
Like in Destiny, the music really was on another level where the rest of the game just lscked. It stood out like orchid growing out of a pile of feces. Obviously im exaggerating a bit to drive the point but i believe thats a given. Marty just is on his own level in games he works on.
But music really just seems to be really lacking in 343i era Halo games. Music is one of the most important parts when gameplay has to remain interesting. DOOM is one of the games where this has been understood.
