I haven’t seen anything like this yet so I thought I’d bring it up: should infinte have multikills past killionaire?
I say yes and my reasoning is that I always see streamers like mint blitz getting insane naires and then keep going, but the multikill doesn’t reset so they get like fifteen in a row but the last 5 are registered as normal kills, not part of a killtac. so either fix it so that after a naire it resets and keeps track of the multi, or add in more past the naire
I think you mean ‘passed’ not ‘past’, past is an indication of time where as passed is an indication of going beyond or ‘passing’ something.
As for the question? Well, I mean, it’s probably not super common for someone to hit the max killtac and keep going. Personally I don’t think it’s necessary.
I don’t think it’s necessary. There are enough multikill medals. Adding more will only devalue the ones for streaks. For example, what value would a running Riot hold if someone was able to find a technique to repeatedly get a “Fantasticaire” or whatever?
Additionally, “because streamers play the game a certain way” doesn’t justify adding any medals whatsoever. Streamers do it for viewership while the game is designed to be played by a large audience. Nothing wrong with that obviously, but justifying the addition of medals because of that doesn’t make much sense to me.

I find it difficult to care because this doesn’t really concern me, or the rest of the 99.9% of players outside of Grifball where multikills are totally devalued anyway. I don’t really have an argument against it, but the multikills have to end somewhere, and ten seems like a pretty good place to stop.

If you’re going to correct people’s grammar on the internet (which I’d advise against unless the supposed error significantly impacts the readability of the text), at least don’t correct correct grammar into incorrect one. “Past” is a preposition, “passed” is the past tense of the verb “pass”. When you pass overkill and get a killtacular, you have passed overkill, but you have also gone past it. The medals after overkill are located past it on the imaginary line of multikills.

I was merely making note that ‘past’ didn’t look correct as whenever talking about something going BEYOND something, the correct use of the word was ‘passed’ never ‘past’. There was no attempts at being right, it was merely making observation that it didn’t look right. If it WAS correct and/or the OP wished to keep it like that, they had every right to.

HOnestly dude i appreciate the grammatical correction I did intend to say passed

Well apparently the Monitor thought I was being a grammar -Yoink!- lol it’s all good.
I think it should just reset, so that when you get 12 kills within 4 seconds of each other you’d get a killionaire and then a double kill and so on. That’s how it should realistically function, even if it doesn’t affect most players. It should reset and keep giving out medals because you are actually performing multi-kills and it feels a bit unfair if you don’t get any medals for it at all.
Also, grammar Nazis are so -Yoink- insufferable when they’re wrong. When they’re right, I sort of understand - maybe they just have OCD or something. But it just annoys me so much. It happened to me IRL during an English class at uni and I just stopped listening to all of his “constructive criticism” after he told me my grammar was wrong even though he was clearly in the wrong. Just makes me so mad hahaha
Tbh it should’ve stayed the Halo 2 way where netting one kill higher than the highest multikill just awards that multikill again as long as the multikill timer doesn’t break. Then you’ll keep earning the last one.
People would have YouTube videos of “H2 Killimanjaro x4” which is just a multikill of 10. Halo 2 stopped at the Jaro, which is 7, for Bungie’s favorite number, but each kill after in a multikill would keep giving you the Jaro. We should have that for Killionaire just so further multis would be awarded for continuance, without the need for new medals.
