In the list of achievements for Halo 5 revealed today there is an achievement called Prison Break:
> Prison Break - Simultaneously kill two Wardens in The Breaking on Heroic difficulty
Since it seemed in the short videos included in the Halo 5 Experience as well as the E3 trailer that there was a single entity known as the Warden Eternal. However in the recent launch trailer there is a brief scene that shows Chief fighting what looks like the Warden and honestly the location in which the fight occurs seems like a strange area for such a big “boss” encounter and if he is indeed the big bad you wouldn’t reveal the major boss fight in a launch trailer, so could that of been one of these other “Wardens” who is similar in appearance but is lower than the one, actual Warden Eternal.
Well it says kill 2 wardens so no. There’s only one. /s
Warden is likely just a class and Eternal is a single entity alongside the other wardens.

I meant to include that in there, but yeah it seems that it implies there is a class/rank structure amongst the Wardens. In a way like the Brutes (not an exact comparison) but how in H2 you fight the Brutes (I expect the Wardens will be on a whole other level though), but Tartarus is a way above the others.
I’m actually really happy about this. I’m glad that the Wardens are their own class of enemy and there isn’t just one. Makes fighting forerunners more diverse. Now we have wardens, knights, soldiers, crawlers, and watchers. That’s a big step up from halo 4
The warden eternal is obviously a forerunner ancilla capable of spread itself through multiple physical constructs at once.
Wither there’s multiple Warden contructs with separate AIs, or the warden is Halo’s Ultron.

Wouldn’t be surprised since Brian Reed is the main writer.
