Multiple profiles on 1 live account?

Hello, never been on here before so if theres a help thing I don’t see please let me know

So, I have a Xbox live membership and account and play online regularly. My brother also has a profile on the same console, but no live account. When I have him in my party (as our separate accounts) the game tells me he does not have permission to play. Is this because he doesn’t have a live account, even if I do and we are on the same console? And if he has to play as an add on to my account, does it save his stats as mine? Thanks.

When your brother plays as a guest, his stats are not saved. In order for him to use his profile online, he would need Xbox live. Since he doesn’t, that is why he is showing up as a guest for you.

Ok thank you, how would I set him up as a guest?

Just open his controller, go to the MM or FF or Campaign, press A and then the sign in screen will pop up. Select Guest and press A.
