Multiplayer update please

Greetings fellow Spartans and/or Elites. I haven’t played Halo reach in a few years. Is it still being supported by halo servers? Or has it been discontinued? I like and own Halo 4 but I’m more of a Reach fan, mostly because of the invasion game type and massive Forge World. Please inform me as soon as possible.

Yes.

Hi Honour Spartan,

I am glad to tell you that Halo: Reach is still going strong today.

It is still fully supported on the Xbox 360. There are around 15,000-20,000 players on daily. You will have no trouble finding games in Grifball, BTB, Swat, Team Slayer, and Firefight; it usually takes 1-2 minutes to find a game. For other game types, it may take a little bit longer.

Overall, the game is very much alive and is largely clan-based. There are many high-rank elite players, but there are also many new low-rank players too.

The game will be backwards compatible in November, as alluded to by Microsoft earlier this week:

Backwards compatibility will probably give Reach a population boost. This population boost could possibly warrant an update; this is possible, but unlikely.

But you can still play the game on the 360, or on the Xbox One in a few weeks and have no problem finding a game. Your call.

^Basically what I was gonna say^
All of the playlists get played, but some (like team objective) have only enough players for a single game to go on.
Mostly you see lots of people in:
Team Slayer
Living Dead
Team Snipers
Team Swat
BTB
Grifball
There are a few decently populated ones but these have the most players. If any of these are your favorite/ cup of tea, I suggest getting it. You still see a lot of players who have just started (like me). Although I am a Lt. Colonel after playing a month
