Decimus is fine. Air units are fine. The servers are kind of bad but they work. The ranks are basicaly a bunch of random people thrown in random directions regardless of skill but you do sometimes get a challenge anyway.
What makes this game unplayable is not the game, it’s the players. 1/2 games atleast 1 player leaves either in the beginning or mid match. I know it says leavers are punished after several disconnects but obviously they don’t get the message. I started playing very recently and has so far climbed to plat 2 and the absolute biggest challenge with climbing is the 12 year old grown ups who leave as soon as they don’t think things are going exactly according to their plan.
Please punish leavers or atleast make them que with other leavers or something instead of letting them ruin the normal ladder for people who are not weak willed 39 year old basement dwellers.
This can all be solved by playing with friends and not randoms an having a coordinated team.
I suggest you do that rather than attacking users on the forums for leaving a game early or crashing lol

I usually play with friends but HW2 ain’t that popular. Just because I don’t force my friends to buy and play something they don’t like don’t mean playing solo on any of the current game modes except a single one should have to be completely avoided if you have the slightest competetive personality. In normal team war I don’t care but leaving ranked games because you don’t feel like playing is scummy. Punishment for prevention needs to be implemented.
I’m not attacking random forum users. If you have a habit of leaving I have 0 respect for you. Specifically you. And if your game is constantly crashing you should probably invest in a newer computer. Mine hasn’t crashed a single time since the first time I played it.
I am not saying to perma ban people who leave 1 game. Sometimes you just have to go I understand that. But if you really have to go, you will survive a small punishment. For example if you leave a game because you really have to go and recieve a 30 min ban it wouldn’t matter. You shouldn’t be able to just leave as soon as you don’t feel like you’re destroying the enemy and then instatly que for a new game.

He’s broken yes but atleast against Decimus you have a chance. If you play 1v2 or 2v3 there’s basically nothing you can do.

Nice assumptions, I don’t have a bad habit of leaving nor will I play with randoms under any circumstances, I leave a game when I know I already lost and won’t waste my time or the opponents time either. They implemented a ban when the game launched and it caused a massive problem because resigning no matter what would give you a 15 minute ban, then 2 hours and just get worse. I haven’t experienced to many crashes myself but my game likes to crash after the game is already over so my rank doesn’t get tanked at least from that.
Just don’t play with randoms at all or play 1s, theres no real way around people quitting in the middle of a game on any game at all.

There’s not many leavers in a lot of games. CSGO, R6S for example that punishes on first offence then gradually increases the punishment the more you leave. League of Legends for example as well that instead very heavily punish players who leave repeatedly. There are lots of examples but in this you can be afk or leave pretty much every game you don’t feel is going your way and get away with it.
Saying “wElL dOn’T pLaY tHe gAmE tHeN” doesn’t really prove there isn’t a problem. A game rarely goes on for longer than 25 min. If you’ve comitted to a ranked match you should absolutely be ready to stay for that long. There isn’t really an excuse for or any way to defend leavers.
Leavers is always going to be a problem for every game but having atleast 1 player leave on either team almost consistently every match is quite frankly ridiculous. It’s probably the reason the rank groups are broken and player skill can be extremely different between a gold 2 and a gold 2.
There isn’t a single thing you can say to convince me that punishing someone for unsportsmanlike behavior is a huge issue.

Compared to Forge? Yea.
I think I’ll just start playing 1v1s though. I often go on endless losing streaks due to all the coconut brains that just sit there and never build armies to help the team, then they quit.

Yeah, just tried a couple of 3v3s with a friend and 2 out of 3 games the random just left and the third game the random had a reaver, a banshee, an engineer and a Decimus hero by 15 min. 2v2s almost always end up with 1 team having to rush as fast as possible before Decimus can abuse his Siphon since he is almost always picked by atleast 1 team, that ain’t even fun.
I think rank mode is very unbalanced . You lose a game you lose 30 points . You win you gain 5 points. I’ve always wondered if a specific 3v3 or 2v2 rank party mode only would increase the competitive sport, I argue yes. But people say it would split the player count even more.
I think it would be a lot more enjoyable for those one solo in 3s and 2s rank.
This is kind of off topic but I want to hear you elaborate on what kind of hacks. I haven’t encountered anything along the lines of a hack so far, atleast I think I haven’t. I didn’t even know it was possible.

Well there’s no denying it would be a lot more fair considering how much easier it is to coordinate with a full team. Would probably screw with the que times and the systems ability to match you with players of equal skill (not that it does that now) a bit though. It also wouldn’t fix the issue of leavers. There’s basically no point in playing ranked solo, either you’re going to win because you play against one less opponent or you’re going to lose because… You get the point.
I would totally play this game alot more if I had the ability to play solo ranked without everybody leaving all the time. Even if you go in 2 friends in a 3v3 you’re going to see alot of leavers.

Building an amount of army way to quickly then should be possible giving the amount of time and damage done
