Has anyone else noticed that in Reach, one of the top 3 medals was ALWAYS first strike? This was pretty much a waste of one of the top medals because no matter what gametype you play there will always be a first strike. The point of the top medals is to show the cool medals people got during the game like multikills or sprees.
I hope 343 fixes this, or even better take out the medal in the first place since i think its kind of pointless. Its like giving a medal to the first person in a match to jump.
Yea. True. First strike should never of been a top medal. Overkills and streaks should be there.

It is really “funny” when I get a Killionaire in MM and the top medals are: First Strike, Running Riot and Sword Spree or something.
No idea what Bungie were smoking when they drew up the Top Medal tables… when Perfections get overlooked in favour of Triple Kills, something’s gone wrong.
i got a perfection like a month ago but remember seeing it not as a top medal. the top medals were like yoinks or somethin’ stupid. i was like wt-?
And can we please stop giving people medals for killing people with headshots, or simply killing other people and having it count as a ‘revenge’?
It completely invalidates the point of medals. It hardly even feels good when you get them anymore.
