I would like to request the addition of having the ability to have multiple players in a Theater lobby for all games of MCC - and the future of Halo.
One aspect of Halo 3 that was amazing was the induction of the Theater mode. Within this mode players had the ability to invite friends and watch recorded game clips together. The host would have full control, while the other players in the lobby could watch from the perspective of the host. This allowed friends to go over game footage and provide feedback for each other or even just relax and laugh in a fun way.
With the inclusion of Halo: Reach and later titles, although the Theater mode was still there, players were only able to enter into a Theater session by themselves. In my opinion this was a step in the wrong direction as it removed one of the core aspects of favorable past times. To accomplish this experience now, players must share their screen in other applications like Discord to emulate what used to be - although this comes with a handful of other nuances such as quality issues. Please reimplement this feature for all titles within MCC and in Halo Infinite as well.
If you support the reimplementation of being able to watch Theater clips simultaneously with others, please share your thoughts below and if there’s any reason you believe this feature should not be reimplemented I’m curious why you think so!
