343i, why’d you pass this up? We know you could have done it, because Bungie got it working as a prototype in Reach before scrapping it. And Halo 4’s engine isn’t a complete overhaul like H3 to Reach, hell you pretty much copied and pasted a lot of things code wise. (trust me, I go to other sites practiced in, uh, black magic) You just painted a prettier picture on top of that code already made.
So why’d you skip out on multiplayer space combat? It’d have been an invigorating breath of fresh air for a first person shooter, but your definition of fresh air was cramming generic FPS mechanics down our throat like sprint and perks.
