I have Xbox Live Gold and Halo 5 won’t let me play multiplayer games. I have tried deleting my gamertag, re adding, re-installing and nothing seems to work. I receive the following when trying to enter Arena, Warzone etc.
“MULTIPLAYER REQUIRED
This mode requires an account with Xbox Live Gold with Multiplayer Privileges enabled and a connection to Xbox Live. Would you like to to the Home screen and check your privileges?”
I go to the Home screen and it says I’m good to go!
Funnily enough I used my gamer profile on a friends Xbox to play and was able to play on their console.
Can anyone help me find a solution please?!

What kind of Gold did you use?
I am having the same exact problem, not sure what to do. Super annoying.
Has anyone found a solution to this? I am having the exact same problem. I have an active Gold membership. I mean XBOX just charged my card another $9.99 and my account STILL isn’t letting me play online. Super frustrated. I called XBOX Support and they said it was due to maintenance, but I have plenty of friends that are able to get on and play.
