Does anyone else want the old titled ranks to return from Halo 3 Mythic/Halo Reach? Or do you think that 343 should keep the numbered levels from Halo 4 and Halo 5?
I would rather named ranks. It’s more interesting being called a Brigadier than a 148
I prefer the Halo 3 ranking system of 1-50

Ya I have to say I liked the reach style ranks, the names and how you unlocked armor.

Definitely better than plain numbers
I would prefer the reach ranking system. Whenever I got to a new rank I always felt supper accomplished and it made getting to new levels even harder (brigadier grade 4 
) And its also a lot more intuitive rather than the, “yeah I’m rank 125”
They all mean the same anyways so I don’t care to much, it’s just a playtime rank, I’d rather they ditch it entirely myself.
I hope the ranks from Reach came back kr something else that’s equal to that. A rank as a number I think for all us just makes it bland everytime you rank up. I know that its just a way to see how much time you had put in the game but there are creative ways you can do it also.
The Reach ranking system would be great to have in Infinite.
The way Halo 3 had 1-50 trueskill combined with a progression exp, which combined gave you a unique named rank (i.e. Colonel Grade 3, Corporal Grade 2) was best in my opinion.
Then it even took it a step further when the dlc came out, by giving you individual playlist progression ranks in addition to your overall rank.
I honestly didn’t care much for Reach, 4, and 5’s pure progression systems.
Similarly 2 and MCC’s 1-50 are lacking.
I hope the Halo 3 ranking system returns. I really do believe it’s universally loved. If nothing else I’d like the Reach system back. Anything is better than SR.
Yeah I loved Reaches system. I feel like that would be the way to do it.

Halo 3 ranks. Reach would be ok but this general focus on “muh MLG” needs to stop.
