Updated Halo 5 update Wednesday morning, then discovered that my multiplayer rank had disappeared along with all of matchplay records. Everything reset. I cleared persistent data; reset Alt MAC; removed and added my account; and uninstalled and reinstalled halo 5 (6+ hours) and nothing recovered the data. Is this a known issue??? Is 343 working on this???
It is supposed to, genius. ITS A NEW SEASON!
Apparently, the rep I spoke to at xbox support is also a “genius” because the season reset was never mentioned. Thx for the info. everyone.

There’s been streams and plenty of updates saying about seasons. Although it would be nice for this update to be posted when launching the game to let people know of the change. Some people don’t use the channel or watch streams.
This reset has been mentioned since this update was first spoke of. Xbox Support isn’t 343 and they aren’t informed of everything. If you read updates or news articles about Halo then you would have known this.
So there is no point in gaining rank now since it disappears.
