Multiplayer Quitters

Nooooooo way Jose! 343 views disconnects and lag outs as quits. Everyone and their dog would be banned all the time then. This is literally over the top.

The reason for that: halo never had another system than banning. We have 2023… by know, it should be common knowledge that positive reinforcement does wonders instead of dumb punishment. But if you a company is more into a working (and still poorly designed) store than actual game design, players have to suffer.

i not know about you but back in the old day’s from halo 3 and halo reach there was a big quitters problem.
and most off the quit for the lame reasons there are since some people think that there stats are holy more since there need to have a perfect K/D ratio and W/L ratio.
and if there lose more match’s or have more death’s there quit the match since there not wane see there stats become worse by that.

and here is also something not new banning people for quitting in halo infinite has become compleet useless and worthless at all.
in halo 4 and halo 5 the quit banning system was working 100% good.
in halo infinite its compleet worthless for a lot off reason’s.
since halo infinite has the most disconnects and lagg problems in the first place.
and second and the most worthless idea there ever have done is to make the game F2P.
F2P make’s the banning system compleet worthless and useless in generaal all.

What are you trying to tell me?

H5 had a less harsh banning system and yes, people quit less. What does it tell you?

Regarding h3: had about 6000 games in h3 (360, not mcc) and quitting wasn’t a big deal. Same as friendly fire.

f2p: didn’t really change a thing, you could have multiple accounts in h5 as well. f2p just opened it up to pc players as well.

since in halo 5 you need to buy the full game first if you wane play the matchmaking.
then you need to have xbox online gold membership to play online.
and if you count then both up its going to cost you some lot of money.

and the playlist system in halo 5 was a lot better a lot off ranked and social permante playlist’s to choose out from.

i know but you still need to pay the gold membership for each account.
so is it worth the money to keep buying new gold memberships each time for the new accounts since you have quit a lot on the other accounts all.
and most people think its not worth the money to buy a lot gold memberships for each new account for quiting a lot off match’s.

friendly fire was a big problem there since most people are scum more since it was fun to betray your team mate’s for the fun or for a stupid power weapon you wane steal from your team mate.
its the same what there are now doing in halo infinite more with the ghost or warthog to splat your own teammate’s with it.

no you don’t.

not really. it’s still you personal opinion. over 5000 games on h5 on my clock say something completely different.

Well it can see their match history, if a player knows their connection is crap that day and keeps trying to matchmake, resulting is disconnections and what not, then they are still ruining the experience of others and are just as bad as quitters.

first off all the friendly fire system was only active in the bungie era from the halo serie’s that means the xbox 360 versions of halo 3 and halo reach got the friendly fire system on.

both halo 4 and halo 5 that are from the 343 era have no friendly fire system at all.
so it has notting to do with halo 5 at all since it never got a friendly fire system.

wtf are you talking about? I usually played ranked only in h5 (as in infinite) and of course theres FF. oO

edit: ff is actually not the point of this topic, so let’s get btt.

lol look at this post

https://www.reddit.com/r/haloinfinite/comments/103lozg/pc_player_here_is_this_really_the_state_of_ranked/

@Spikanor at least admit you are wrong instead of coming up with this bait nonsense…

then come with proof if halo 5 has a betray system.

this is proof that halo 5 has no friendly fire system at all https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5BkEWAOgO0

so show your proof then.

and if you look back it was you that has start about the friendly fire so its your own fault to bring something like that up in the first place.

go play h5 ranked and get the proof yourself. im not here to babysit you.

yes, i brought it up and ended the discussion. btw, you were wrong about the „every account has to have gold“ as well.

the last time i have play the ranked playlist was in halo 3 from the xbox 360 day’s.
after that i have only play social playlist’s only and in halo 5 i have play only more warzone then the matchmaking in the first place.

so lets end the topic here about it if halo 5 has friendly fire or not.

so back to the topic.
banning quitters in a F2P formule matchmaking is useless.

Feel like this topic went pretty off course but I made it in the heat of the moment when I just lost a match 2 vs 4. I’ve sense learned if you leave after a teammate quit you won’t lose any more ranked points if you were to stay for the full match and don’t get banned for being the 2nd one to quit. So with that in mind, sadly is what it is. I want Halo Infinite to be the best and have a good competitive feel to it but I don’t think the main people at 343 care about that as much as charging 5$ for the color red and making the campaign and multiplayer maps as bland as possible. Seriously this is unrelated but I would have paid just to see some rain or snow in the game.

On that note though the first person who commented had the best idea, put in a bad sport lobby like in GTA 5 and put the people who frequently quit in those lobbies. Sadly just don’t think the player base is that large so it won’t happen just a nice idea.

Also since Halo 5 was mentioned, warzone is better than any mode Infinite has to offer. Wish it was on pc

I’m quitting if I’m playing against some pc nerd who clearly has some mod running where there’s zero chance to outgun them.

Do you try to prove they have a mod first, or just nope the instant anyone kills you that’s playing on the PC?

I have noticed more players turn faster, and manoeuvre faster, making it close to impossible to out gun them. I feel like one of the Old Halo Hunters, clumsily trying to hit them as they jump over me, spin around, and repeat, they are obviously using something.

Likewise, I have watched YouTube streamers lately who are quite pleased with all the changes that have come to MNK, and are demonstrating just how well they can manoeuvre, and aim, compared to a person using a controller.
