Hi there,
So recently, I’ve installed Halo 5 from a disc and downloaded the patch for it, that was roughly 20GB, a few days ago. Today, I’ve tried playing Arena and Warzone for the first time and unfortunately I’m not able to because of the “Could not find a server that was suitable for all members of your fireteam.” error. I’ve also noticed that I’m not able to play any Custom games or Forge because the game ends up telling me that there was an “Error retrieving data center connection quality information. Please try again later.” which pretty much limits me, to only being able to play the campaign (most likely by myself).
I’ve tried searching for solutions, from here (halowaypoint forums) and elsewhere, and none of them has made any changes to my connectivity to multiplayer. It would be great, if someone is able to help me to somehow troubleshoot the problem. I’ve listed all the solutions I’ve already tried at the bottom of this post. One solution I haven’t tried is Uninstalling and reinstalling the game and I preferably don’t want to do that because my connection takes a while to download, especially with an update size of 20GB (I do know that this may limit chances on fixing my multiplater, however I have read that other people tried doing this method and it hasn’t worked out for them either).
Thanks for reading.
Here’s the list of solutions, which have been previously suggested on halowaypoint forums (somewhere), that I’ve already tried using (P.S. I may have not listed all the solutions I’ve tried, because there were quite alot of them):
-
Hard power off and ethernet disconnect (Unplugged and replugged after). - Changing from wired connection to wireless connection and vice versa. - Port forwarding with ports 53, 80, 88, 500, 3074, 3544 and 4500. - I did use my mobile phone as a tethering device (using my mobile’s data) which does connect me to games fine. Although, it’s extremely laggy as expected.Note(s):
-
I haven’t/wasn’t been banned from multiplayer, as I haven’t played Halo 5 multiplayer before I found the issue(s).
