Generally truly happy with halo 5 guardians, cannot wait for halo infinite, however I really hope they tweak this issue.
We have so many power weapons, most of which I never saw on a slayer map, not only that but every map does not need the sniper and the rocket.
Place promethian weapons on the promethian maps, human on human and covenant on covenant. Seems simple.
My other issue is the red vs blue. Perhaps truth could be purple vs yellow, overgrowth could be green vs orange… mix it up and keep it interesting for far longer.
Even make the colours random and the power weapons random.

Far too many maps have the sniper rifle as one of the power weapons…it must be around 70% of Slayer maps. Far too much imo.
As for the different colours, I think the best option here would be to use the two colours that most contrast the colours in the design of the map.
For example the map Mercy is mostly red and the red team kind of blends into the map a little bit where as the blue team seems to really stand out. Changing the colours of the teams would really even the playing field if done right
