@Voin_Spokoen if i select campaign i can choose to ‘buy’, but not download and cant select a language. I dont have a game pass or xbox live at the moment, bit maybe that is the problem? Altough im not gonna nuy one until i know for sure that i can play.

so i cant play multyplayer too.
Same problem here on pc, for some reason there’s always a waiting que for every single game mode. This all worked fine during season 1, seems things got worse. Now i can’t play at all, have tried @Voin_Spokoen method, but sadly that didn’t work neither.

On PC + Windows 11 , when you get error messages that does not make any sense (GPU not suppported or DirectX not installed), check your onedrive! Make sure you have enough space in your onedrive folder and that is able to sync.
A friend of mine was getting the errors that I mentioned. Turns out it was his onedrive not able to sync, because it was full. Halo Infinite installs some files (I am not sure, but I think it is the player profile) in “My Documents” and this is under onedrive control

Update: this worked for me on the xbox one. If you are in the home menu, press start to go to the control panel. Then press Y to go to ‘manage game’. Select the english language to download and after that tje play button should be active again. If not try to rrstart the game.

Hey guys i just got answer from halo support with a workaroun that helped me with this problem:
On the main menu, open the Control Panel, select Manage Game, and get the English language pack. You can also try setting your console’s language or region to the UK.

Same.When researching I read on one website that there is that problem cuz of Quick resume launching, that’s the case.Even If you take the game out of the quick resume,it will always re-load into quick resume when launching.If you remove it in the menu you’ll crash on home screen,so thats near impossible mission

I had the same. I went to manage the game and needed to install english for sole reason. Then it worked!!

Try downloading the english language pack in game components. I also could not start any game including campaign (it was stating I needed to download it while I already downloaded). Downloading english language pack resolved the issue for me and all game modes became available again.

I’ve got the same issues. Did anybody find a solution yet? Every aspect of the game is unreachable except for menu and store. Grey play button everywhere.
Hey again, for the people that don’t have campaign. You go to the campaign and then download the language that you want once downloaded it should work then.
