I’ve been trying to play some HC master chief collection with my 2 good buddies. We have played several nights a week throughout the last year and a half in the same room with each other via split screen. However, we have ran into an issue recently where we start a team slayer match and get booted from the lobby before we find any players. After further troubleshooting, we can enter a game with one person only, however when we try to all 3 play together, we get booted again. Prior to this we get a message that starts out by saying “Multiplayer is not allowed” followed by something about turning off family settings, etc (we don’t have any family settings set up anyways). Usually we can just ignore this message and find a game. Any solutions to the problem would help. We would really like to get back to pwning noobs and hitting LS rapidly.
Same exact issue, down to the previous family messages before it completely stoped working. This has been going on for about six months or so. I’ve been hoping there would be an update to fix it by this time. What is going on?
This issue is still not resolved. This is why I refused to buy Halo 5, and won’t update to a One S to get the new MCC updates. This game should’ve been the greatest game ever. Instead, it was what killed Halo for me. I’ve read the books, read the comics, purchased collectibles, purchased the new Xbox’s only to be able to play Halo still. And then it was killed with MCC. It’s been multiple years since this blunder, and it still bothers me.
Only recently started trying to play again because my son is old enough and I wanted to show him what was my favorite game ever.
I have been experiencing the same issue, outlined in another thread i made recently. Nothing seems to fix it, Not even a full factory reset which is weird as it was working before.
