Just because Sony and Nintendo aren’t willing to, doesn’t mean Microsoft HAS to as well.

And how does it make not business sense? You are still charging the players money for your games…

If they did this we wouldn’t be in FTP multiplayer hell we are in now.
Charge money for both multiplayer and campaign upfront. $40 for a good quality campaign (content and story complete with no cliffhangers/never ending mystery questions) and $20 for multiplayer across all platforms. Have earnable in game credits for playing both the multiplayer and single player, and have those earnable credits be used for armor customization/cosmetics, DLC multiplayer maps, and DLC story campaign content. All The DLC content/customization can also be monetized if you are thinking purely from a business perspective but it also should be in game earnable.

If that still doesn’t deliver enough decent profits (keyword: DECENT), they can have a donate button in their website to keep the updates and servers running properly. If the game has built up good enough PR and in game content, people will donate…

I’m pretty sure MS means that they won’t pull CURRENT CoD titles, particularly Warzone. It amazes me anyone would think they’re going to develope new CoD games etc for PlayStation going forward.

What they should do is port MCC to Nintendo Switch/Switch 2.

even better - matchmaking should match Xbox players against PS players.

i have a lot off cod titels and have stop playing then since it was going bad with the series more.

but the option you call that you wane play with the Playstion players in a crossplay system only is something that back then the cod communety also have told that there wane play only between both concole’s in a crossplay system and not with pc but that is something that is never going to happing since its crossplay with the pc communety or playing with the players from the same concole.

Would definitely like that, i hate the console wars…i got a lot of friends which i could play with and go berserk…they could only put the Multiplayer on Playstation and keep the campaign on Xbox and this is a win win for Everyone!!!

Did you read the news this week? Xbox is on a massive roll and Playstation’s days of big momentum are numbered. There is no reason to put Halo on PS5.

The only way this comes to PS5 is if Sony lets M $ put gamepass on playstation. I don’t think that’s likely.

Yeah, as if that isn’t going to cause more issues for a game that has way more than enough issues as it is.

The only thing that will do is bring in players to buy the broken BP/shop that is dictating the direction of the entire game, and if the players base is dwindling it’s for a good reason, and that is because of the very poor leadership that is only thinking about their wallet, not creating a quality type of game.

Crazy idea. Halo will never go to playstation.

Also, the high numbers at launch were never going to be retained even if the game wasn’t broken and worked fine.

There was always going to be a surge when a big FTP game launches.

My worry is that players who would normally stick with the game gave up due the the BTB issues etc

Microsoft have access to Xbox and PC players. Besides, they’ll never give Sony access to an IP like Halo so that’s just never going to happen.
