Just wondering how the in game mics are going to be. When I was in the flight team I used discord and xbox party chat. Didn’t playing with the in game chat.
It’ll probably work like most other games.
If you’re not in party chat you’ll be able to talk to your team whilst you’re in a match.
Whilst in lobby you can talk to everyone.
Settings for open mic, push to talk likely exist too.
I rarely use game chat so it’s not something I’ve really put a tonne of thought or time looking into.
I use Discord. The voice-to-text recording they do behind the scenes is unethical.

As handy as they feature would be, I can see the chat filling up with insults and slurs as quickly as 10 year olds can scream them

Pretty sure that’s how it was working when I was using it in the last flight.

I believe so too, I never bothered looking at the chat settings much last flight since they were broken haha.
Guess we can reconfirm this info on the 24th.
I kinda miss the push to talk and all the good fun smack talking. Of course things got out hand, but so many more times than not, this was how I made so many of my Xbox friends I still have to this day from early Halo and CoD games. Good times!!
I miss H2 proximity chat with the opposition.

I was always a big fan of overly heavy breathing myself.
I really enjoyed the near 4D experience of viscerally inhabiting someone else’s oesophagus using only the moist, hitching power of a stranger’s laboured breathing.
