Dear 343,

I love all the maps you created and originally had without the new forge maps in multiplayer playlists. My request would be next season bring back old slayer maps such as molten, overgrowth, and tyrant. Team arena maps and game types would mainly be Fathom CTF. Maybe get creative like ctf on regret. Or ffa oddball on mercy. You’ve experimented a lot and a lot of it was good but I miss rolling slayer on maps like riptide.

I have considered you have taken these original maps off because they have unfair start off spawns because they are closer to powerups and power weapons. My argument is in matchmaking, the team you get on is random. It is a gamble but it seems fair to me. Say say the disadvantaged team gets the power ups and power weapons the next 3 times they spawn and make a come back.

Playing with my friends, we seem to agree that russet isnt great because there is way too much cover and it’s not aesthetically pleasing. Looks like a potato. My buddies also don’t seem to like new hcs forge maps. All I’m saying is I want see more original maps before Halo 6 comes out. Even night time version of eden for one season would be amazing.

Yeah the new maps suck i dont know why the refused with a passion to not get them off hcs

Tyrant is alright, can’t say I noticed it being gone though. Overgrowth and Molten are too broken for competitive 4v4s. Overgrowth is hated by many and has horrible spawns, Molten is a tad small with easily manipulative spawns.

I agree, halo 5 has the worst maps in the series. It’s a shame because I love the gameplay. Please more original maps! Less gray forge maps.

Riptide and tyrant were fun to play in slayer. It would be cool to see those maps come back. They are a lot better than some of the other maps currently in rotation. Tyrant would be a lot better than mercy or white cell in slayer. Tyrant would also be good in doubles. Most of the forge community doubles maps should not be in ranked doubles. The map “These Walls” is a joke and is the worst halo map I have ever played.
