A simple topic- what maps would you like to see return for Halo Infinite?

Here’s a few of my own ideas. Please note any remakes of previously existing maps won’t be listed twice; if I list a remake, it’s because I prefer the remake to the original. I’m not saying ALL of these need to return, this is just a pool of my favorites I want to see back.

What maps would you want to see make their return in Halo Infinite?

I’d like to see Halo CE Blood Gulch, Sidewinder, and Battle Creek return in Infinite… Of course with better graphics but still… Lets put some nostalgia into the game

It’s Containment for me. It has never once been remade, and it was a really, really good BTB map. And it’s the kind of map that would’ve worked well with any Halo title that followed it. So I imagine it would work well for Halo Infinite, unless Halo Infinite is a radical departure when it comes to gameplay.

Be cool to see a full or semi full forerunner map of high ground or exile.

I was going to put Blood Gulch, but it seemed like too obvious of a choice. But yeah, I’d love to see it return. Maybe with Mantises and air combat?

I chose Backwash and Containment specifically for the reasons that they’ve never been remade despite being amazing maps. 343 would make my dreams a reality if they returned.

Narrows, Heretic, Guardian. And okay Lockout.

For me I hope they actually bring back maps that deserve remakes.

Sandtrap, lockout, high ground, haven, blood clutch, backwash and spire to return back. Also foundry and sandbox.

Please, no Apex 7. That map is one of the worst Warzone has to offer. Second only to Urban, and that’s only because Urban is laughably bad.

Some of those Spartan Ops maps would be super neat forge canvases. Even if they’re just parts ripped out of Halo 4’s Campaign.

Considering that Halo 5’s forge was pretty awesome for the lack luster of a game it was put in, I’m sure the forge system in Halo Infinite will allow all of these to return looking better than ever.

First of all, I want to see new maps that are even better than any previous map. But as far as old maps coming back, here’s what I’m thinking

  • More Blood Gulch is always fun! - Halo 3’s Valhalla is a nice map and one of my favorites in Halo 5 in the form of Viking. - Halo Reach had some of my favorite BTB maps such as Spire and Boneyard (or rather Cragmire and Graveyard because Heavies). I also think Asphalt would be much more fun in an environment without Armor Lock or that wacky vehicle launching glitch. - Also had lots of fun on Halo 4’s Exile, Vortex, and Longbow. - I hope Halo Infinite doesn’t have Warzone. However some of the Warzone maps themselves are nice and could probably work with BTB, so I wouldn’t mind seeing them make a return as long as Warzone itself doesn’t.

None as long as we don’t know how Infinite will play. Once we know I’d say at least consider the following:
Containment
Turf
Blood Gulch/Coagulation

Yeah, but that’s the thing. Forge maps can’t match the quality and polish of developer-made maps. Forgers shouldn’t just be left to make the content themselves

I’m sure there’s plenty I could pick but at the minimum I hope we get are Headlong, Zanizibar since love those maps the most.

Not gonna lie, that actually sounds really damn dope. Maybe make it so it’s a map set at night.
