I have long said I wanted multiplayer maps based on Sanghelios. So also how about a map that is just the kracken? Why can’t we have some multiplayer maps based off campaign levels?
Too small?
I feel like that would just be Regret, but with more purple.
I was wondering this myself, (campaign-based maps that is) and a map either on top of or within the Kraken is a great idea. The plasma core/generator could serve as an environmental hazard or something. The Forerunner/Domain theme in the last Blue Team mission also has some promise, as there is a lack of Forerunner themed maps from 343. (a few forge maps though)
Apologies for another post so soon, but I just realized that we don’t have any Sanghelios maps yet either. Holy crap that would be gorgeous. One of those caverns of tan stone pocked with chargeable walls for sneak attacks, plus lots of opportunities for verticality in the design. A sword placed in the hands of one of the ancient statues. Getting excited just thinking of the possibilities.
Wouldn’t it be too small? I’m not against maps being ripped from the campaign but I don’t think that the Kraken would work.

One floor might be a bit small, but if you took the top gun platform and had a platform or two below connected by ramps you’re right in the ballpark. I played it just last night, it might be bigger than you remember once you consider the inside.

Sanghelios would be awesome. It sucks how there isn’t one map in arena where you can Spartan charge through a wall or floor.

It would work for FFA where there is only six for sure. If they use the whole kracken I bet it would work for a 4v4 as well.
