I’m just curious as to why there is no prefer good connection option for halo 4? I’m from Australia and there are plenty of people from my own area to play with, but I never get matched with them.
I really think this issue should be addressed, as when I go in with a party of people from my area, sometimes we get host vs Americans or other countries and vice versa.
I don’t think Americans and other countries enjoy having no choice but to play on our host and lag, and in saying that, we don’t like playing on their host either. It is just far too laggy and makes it sooooo unbalanced.
So anybody who is interested in seeing a solution to this problem, just make a quick post to let 343 know that this is what we would like.

I have just added a poll as well, in case people prefer that, but it would be nice for people to make a quick post to express your concerns about having/not having a local search feature.
This Is Important, Not only for Australians but for Everyone around the world, Nobody wants to have to play Yellow bar 80% of the time. It’s not enjoyable and it never will be

It’s a simple Feature that I cannot believe you overlooked 343i Please get it into matchmaking ASAP!
Seriously… on release went from 3:1 KD ratios on Australian servers to 1:1 on american games -.- experience for this game was sky high now I just wan’t to snap the disk in half sometimes.
I’m with you on that.
I would rather wait 5 mins for a good connection than play a laggy game.
No fun at all emptying a clip into someone and then have then turn around and hit you with a couple of shots and you die.
Take a page out of previous Halo games or even Treyarch with CoD, got local search there.
